Podiatry is concerned with the health of the feet & their effect upon lower bio-mechanics, back pain and spinal motion restrictions.

A podiatrist uses bio-mechanical analysis of your gait, foot position, lower limb motion to create custom-made Orthotics (shoe inserts) to improve comfort, stability, and normal movement.

About Podiatry

Podiatry uses a variety of methods to assist lower-limb dysfunction via prescription orthoses (shoe inserts) which take the foot into an neutral position, aimed at improving the shock absorbing properties of the foot and lower limb.

During your initial visit we take a full case history and assess you for a wide range of possible conditions relating to the foot, the next step is a casting of the feet.

The cast forms the basis for the production of your customised orthotics, which will improve the motion of the foot and entire lower limb, reducing or eliminating aches and pains that can develop over years.
